Phase A of Anarchive Hosting: the cheapest possible change. Keep the co-op's wiki hosting exactly as it is, and move only the bulk media out of Nextcloud. Costs €3–6 a month, and may reduce the existing $40 bill.
## The Move
Video assets are write-once files. They never change, so they do not need sync semantics — Nextcloud is the most expensive possible home for them. A 1 TB Hetzner Storage Box costs €3.20 a month; Backblaze B2 costs $6 per terabyte. Either takes the media; the wiki keeps only pages and small assets.
## What Changes
Video items on wiki pages point at the new store's URLs instead of the site assets folder. The archiving pipeline in the Media Plan writes new clips to the store instead of the synced folder. Everything else — the farm, the co-op, Nextcloud for pages — stays put.
## Why Start Here
No operations burden is taken on. Nothing is migrated except files that never change. If the co-op tier is priced by storage, shrinking Nextcloud may cut the bill outright — the phase can pay for itself.
